Desktop, gaming PC and laptop problems are diagnosed before parts are replaced at random. If a repair is not worth doing, you will be told that too.

Stability problems, overheating, GPU/PSU issues, driver faults and performance troubleshooting.
SSD & RAM upgrades
Compatibility advice, installation and setup for storage and memory upgrades. Parts can be quoted separately.
Windows help
Windows installation, reinstall, setup, updates, drivers and recovery from software problems.
Cleaning & thermals
Internal dust removal, airflow checks and thermal-paste servicing where appropriate.

No. Byte By Byte PCs is appointment-only. Contact the business first to arrange workshop drop-off, pickup or on-site service.
Do I need to know what is wrong with my PC?
No. Describe what the computer is doing, when it started and any error messages you have seen. Diagnosis is the point of the first step.
Will you replace parts without asking?
No. Required parts and extra labour are quoted before additional repair work goes ahead.
Can I supply my own parts?
Yes, depending on the job. Compatibility should be checked before purchase if you are unsure.
